During the 2018 midterm election
cycle, the students of HSP's AP U.S. Government and Politics class
studied two Georgia congressional elections and the gubernatorial
election to better understand the factors that influence voting
patterns, the election process, and how different linkage
institutions (i.e., political parties, interest groups, and the
media) both aid candidates and influence voters during the
election cycle. Here are our findings.
